FBC.PDX Event for Queer/BIPOC/ND: Casual Birding w/ Julia @ Company Lake

Join **Julia** (she/they) for a casual, beginner-friendly birding outing at Company Lake in Troutdale! This outing is designed as an **affinity event for Queer, BIPOC, and/or Neurodivergent folks** who want to spend time birding in a welcoming community space.

This will be a relaxed, social walk focused on enjoying birds together and collective knowledge sharing. Whether you’re completely new to birding or have some experience, you’re welcome to join.
Participants can expect to see **20–40 bird species** depending on conditions. Possible sightings include lingering ducks and waterfowl, **American Kestrels**, returning **swallows**, **Turkey Vultures**, and maybe even **Osprey**.

The pace will be relaxed with multiple stops to look and listen for birds. This is a great outing for people interested in exploring birding in the Troutdale/Gresham area while connecting with others in community.
