NW Documentary Presents: Other Side of the Hill + 360° Films

July 13 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Free

In a time of perceived cultural divide between rural and urban, left and right, young and old, where do we find common ground on climate change?

NW Documentary presents a screening of Other Side of the Hill, a documentary that amplifies the voices of rural community leaders in Eastern Oregon finding hope and opportunity in a changing landscape. From innovative timber operations to large-scale solar, this film challenges assumptions and discovers common ground in an urgency to address our changing climate. Following the screening, we’ll host a live Q&A with the filmmakers.

We’ll also screen two immersive 360° films made right here in Oregon:

Minam River Wildlife takes you inside Oregon’s newly expanded Minam River Wildlife Area, exploring how conservation partners protected nearly 17,000 acres of critical habitat through collaborative stewardship.

Bark in VR gives you a first-person look at what it’s like to volunteer on the ground protecting Mt. Hood National Forest.
