Paddle Team Buddy Shift

Interested in becoming a Paddle Team Volunteer? Join us for a Buddy Shift!

Paddle Team Volunteers support all paddling events at Columbia Slough Watershed Council. They set up and take down events, provide safety information, and lead groups on the water. Volunteers must have an interest in learning, interest in supporting community events and be 16 or older – no previous paddling experience necessary!

The Event: The Council is partnering with People of Color Outdoors for the paddle. Volunteers will support event set up, welcome participants, lead the group on the water, and clean up at the end. Light snacks and drinks woill be provided.
