SUMMARY:Moss and Lichens of the PNW
DESCRIPTION:If you’ve explored anywhere in the Portland area\, you’ve probably noted how green it is. The trees and the ferns provide much of the green\, but so do the lichens and moss. Learn what makes each of them unique and how to identify common species. This event is coordinated by Hoyt Arboretum\, and registration is required through their website. \n\nClass size is limited\, please register in advance\nRegistration closes Friday\, May 23rd at 4:00pm\nProgram is rain or shine!\nAdditional details will be emailed closer to the program date\n\nAbout the instructor: Ruth Williams is a consulting arborist and plant enthusiast with degrees in Horticulture and Landscape Architecture from UC Davis. She has been drawing and painting plants for 17 years. She teaches botanical illustration and plant identification classes at Hoyt.
